Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue Station 31 Renovation
The Snohomish Regional Fire Station 31 project demonstrates GenCap’s expertise in constructing pre-engineered buildings and managing complex site improvements. Adding the maintenance bay and carport structure allows for better equipment storage and maintenance, which is crucial for the department’s efficiency and response readiness. The roof replacement ensures the integrity of the facility, protecting the investments made in both the existing and new structures. • Structure: The project involves the construction of a 3,000 SF maintenance bay addition to the north of the existing facility. Additionally, a new 2,000 SF pre-engineered carport structure is added at the northwest corner of the project site, replacing existing storage containers. The project also includes replacing the existing roof with a new one, ensuring long-term durability and functionality. • Footings: We worked with our subcontractors and the project team to ensure all structural elements were sound and met Monroe’s infill requirements. Coordination with the city involved obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local building standards.
