Neil Gordon

Director of Design & Virtual Construction

Neil Gordon, has over 16 years of experience in the BIM/VDC industry and more than 20 years of 3D modeling experience. Neil began his career with Mortenson in 2006, creating 3D models of structural and architectural scopes for coordination. After nine incredible years, Neil entered a new chapter with BN Builders as an Innovation Manager. He helped build an innovation team of seven people and led the advancement of the 3D coordination process improvements, 4D Modeling, and Augmented Reality in the field.

Neil has been working for GenCap construction for over two years, where he has built GenCap’s VDC capabilities to put the power of 3D coordination, 4D modeling, Building Information Modeling, Virtual Design and Construction, Critical Path Method Scheduling, and Project Control best practices into the hands of our preconstruction and construction teams to make each project delivery experience better for our team members and customers. Neil is creating the path for our industry and placing GenCap Construction as leaders in the future of design and technology in construction.
